Lactation consultants are trained and certified to provide expert guidance and support to breastfeeding mothers and their infants. Their role involves assessing breastfeeding issues, offering practical advice on breastfeeding techniques, addressing concerns such as latch difficulties or low milk supply, and providing education on breastfeeding.

While we do not bill your insurance, most insurance companies provide reimbursement for services with a Superbill which will be provided after each appointment. HSA/FSA are accepted for payment, & cash, credit/debit.
During your visit you can expect a full assessment of your newborn, latch positions, weight checks, feeding goals, tips and tricks for newborn care, feeding plans and much more!

DO YOU PROVIDE SUPPORT IN OTHER AREAS OF NEEDS?
Yes! If you have other questions, thoughts, concerns, you may book a Birch Support session. This option is good for flange sizing, returning to work, pumping plans, weaning; a catch-all within our scope of practice. Anything that would require additional support outside of Birch Cradle will be given recommendations.
